Happy Holidays!

In the next few weeks, we have a lot of exciting activities coming up.  Here is a brief summary of what we'll be doing:

Painting - we will be using acrylic paints to decorate items that are either provided or brought in by students.  Some of these may be used as holiday gifts, so we don't want to give too much away!  We will be painting on Thursday of this week, so students need to wear clothing that would  be "paint-friendly".  Most likely, the paint won't be getting on people or clothes, but precautions are a good idea, just in case :)

Drama/Skit - 'Twas the Night Before Christmas.... students are working in groups of three to create a festive skit that they will present to their peers on Tuesday and Wednesday of next week. Groups are composed of a combination of Mr. Bax's, Mr. Sauve's, and Miss Skelton's students, so it's a great opportunity to work with students who are in different classes.

Probability Fair - more information to come; students will be required to create a probability game that they will share with their peers on Thursday of next week.

Holiday Caroling - if all goes as planned, we will do holiday caroling on Thursday and Friday morning of next week (the last 2 days of school before the holidays).  Parents, guardians, and family members are welcome to join us!

In these two weeks, we will also be having a Probability Math test, and a BEDMAS Math test.  These will hopefully happen by the end of this week, however may be pushed back to next week due to the bus cancelation day yesterday.

Happy holidays,
Stephanie :)
